LINDSEY VASS Lindsay H. Vass ,79, of 722 N. Greenbrier Ave., died, July 1, 2012 at his residence . He was born September 29, 1932 in Hollywood, West Virginia, a son of the late Clarence and Lydia Paxton Vass. Mr. Vass served his country with the United States Army in the Korean War. He retired as owner and operator of the former Vass TV Service . In addition to his parents, Mr. Vass was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Webb Vass in 2008 and also by two brothers, Lewis Vass and Lonnie Vass and by one sister, Helen Ledlow. Surviving are his daughter, Linda Cartwright and her husband Garth of Covington; two grandchildren, Lindsay E. Cartwright and Amber Nicely of Covington and Melanie J. Cartwight and Josh Tolley of Covington; one great grandson, Carter Tolley of Covington; several nieces, including Kim Vass , nephews and cousins.
