Rebecca Craft Bradshaw, 102, of 6605 Potts Creek Road, died, Saturday, June 29, 2019, at her home. Mrs. Bradshaw was born January 20, 1917, in Craig County a daughter of the late James P. and Florence Humphries Craft. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband, Richard R. Bradshaw; a Daughter, Phyllis Bradshaw; a Son, Leo Bradshaw; a Daughter-in-law, Carol Bradshaw; a Son-in-law, Robert Scott, and three brothers and two sisters. She was a longtime member of the Salem Church of God. Becky loved her flowers and milked cows to make her own butter and cottage cheese. She also mowed her own yard; was an excellent cook and made her own biscuits. Surviving are her Daughter, Linda Scott, of Covington; her Son, Eugene Bradshaw, of Covington; her Daughter-in-law, Ada Bradshaw, of Covington; two granddaughters, Dawn Craft, of Covington and Teresa Stevens and her husband, Nate, of Roanoke; four grandsons, Michael Bradshaw, Rick Bradshaw, Jay Bradshaw and Marty Bradshaw; ten great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews to include a special niece Brenda Napier and a special nephew Gerald Cox. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Connie Wilson officiating. Interment will be made in Lone Star Cemetery. The family will receive their friends from 1:00 PM until service time Wednesday at Arritt Funeral Home. The family suggests that donation in Mrs. Bradshaw's memory be made to the Church of God-Salem 1211 Slemp St, Salem, VA 24153.
