WALLACE KELLEY Wallace Allen Kelley, 63, of 432 East Phillip Street died this morning, May 24, 2008, at his home. Mr. Kelley was born January 24, 1945, in Covington a son of the late William Wallace and Lillie Webb Kelley. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War with the United States Army. He had retired April 30, of this year from MeadWestvaco Corp as a Treatment Plant Operator after 32 years with the company. He was a member of Covington Lodge #610, Loyal Order of the Moose. Surviving are his Wife of 35 years, Susan Craft Kelley; two daughters, Missy Shelton and her husband, Jason, of Vinton and Michelle Kelley of Covington; three grandchildren, Amara Shelton and Lennon Shelton both of Vinton and Zachary Allen Kelley of Covington; three brothers, Lloyd Kelley and his wife, Jane, of Iron Gate, Homer Kelley and his wife, Mila, of Eagle Rock and Herman Kelley of Covington; one sister, Anna Young and her husband, Roy, of Colquitt, GA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins including Frankie Lesher of Covington, and his special cat, Angel. In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Kelley's body has been cremated. The funeral service will be held Tuesday evening at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Price officiating. Following the service, the family will receive their friends at Arritt Funeral Home.
