MURIEL WEBB Muriel Fridley Webb, 84, of 1931 S. York Street, died, Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at the Woodlands Nursing Home in Clifton Forge. She was born April 7, 1927, in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late Connie Caldwell Fridley, Sr. and Druey Bayne Fridley. Mrs. Webb retired in 1976 from the Housekeeping Department at the Virginia-Hot Springs Homestead Resort after 19 years of service. She was a member of the Cornerstone Church of God of Prophecy and was an active member of the Democratic Party for all of her life. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Isaac M. Webb, in 1991, and also by one sister, Emma Rose, and two brothers, Clinton Fridley and Connie Fridley, Jr. Surviving are her Daughter, Janice Webb, of Covington; three Sisters, Helen Rawling of Montvale, Shirley Fridley and Glenna Barnett and her husband, Buck, all of Covington; two Brothers, Melvin Fridley and his wife, Bonnie, of Glen Wilton and Harold Fridley and his wife, Pat, of Covington; two Sisters-in-law, Lillian Fridley of Covington and Mildred Fridley of Clifton Forge; her companion and best friend, Bill Hepler, of Paint Bank; special caregivers, Cathy Keyser Persinger and Ashley Keyser, and several nieces and nephews.
