Ralph Oliver Price, 83 of 2019 S. Lee Ave., died, Wednesday December 15, 2021, in the Salem Veterans Medical Center in Salem. Mr. Price was born June 20, 1938, in Covington, the son the late Lacy E. and Violet Mays Price Ford. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Lisa Fridley; two granddaughters Faith Fridley, and Ellie Wilson, a sister Carolyn Robinson; and a brother Charles Price and his special dog Molly. Ralph retired from AET, Inc and had worked at Hercules, he was member of the Cliff Dale Christian Church. Surviving are his wife Betty Taylor Price of 57 years of Covington; a son Ralph Price of Covington; a daughter Donna Wilson and her husband Gene of Covington; grandchildren and great grandchildren to including Courtney Fridley; Oliva Price; and Layne Fridley; a brother David Price of Jacksonville. FL.; and number of nieces of nephews. In keeping with his wishes his body has been cremated. A family gathering will be Sunday from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Arritt Funeral Home.
