RUSSELL HARTMAN Russell Ray Hartman, 50, of 1221 S. Jefferson Ave. in Roanoke died Thursday, January 10, 2013, at his residence. Mr. Hartman was born February 7, 1962, in Alleghany County a son of the late Bill Hartman and Daisy Armentrout Hartman. He was employed with United Parcel Service in Roanoke for over 30 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and a member of the NRA. Surviving are his Step-mother, Doris Hartman of Covington; his Step-brother, Rick Hartman and his wife, Melanie, of Covington, and special friends, Ben and Deniece Hubbard of Covington. In accordance with his wishes, his body has been cremated.
