Todd Neal Campbell, 60, of Covington, passed away on Friday April 21, 2023.

Mr. Campbell was born on October 23, 1962, in Covington, a son of Ronald B. Campbell Sr. and Phyllis Kersey Campbell of Covington.

He was the owner of Advantage Cleaning Services and was a member of the Edgemont ARP Church. He was a 1981 graduate of Alleghany High School. A star athlete in basketball, baseball, and football, where he was an all-state running back in 1980. Todd was an avid golfer and a former member of The Homestead Cascades and the Alleghany Country Club. He was an avid North Carolina Tar Heel fan. Todd was a people person and especially enjoyed meeting new people.

In keeping with his wishes his body has been cremated.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Ron Campbell of Covington; a niece, Jennifer Campbell; a nephew, Chris Campbell both of Roanoke; his beloved cat, Zippy; a special friend, Bridget Conner; and a number of cousins and very close friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday April 26, 2023, at 4:30 PM in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. James MacDougall officiating, assisted by the Rev. Bill Gilliland.

The family will receive their friends on Wednesday at Arritt Funeral Home from 3:00 PM until the service time.

Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Givens, John Batten, Lindy Bazzrea, Andy Cash, Tommy Garten, Billy Potter, Tony Shiflett, Gary Martin, Mike McNeely, Gary Campbell, Mike Campbell, Todd Rose, and Chuck Walton.

The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Arritt Funeral Home.
