Dontae Deangelo Miller, age 18 of Covington, died Saturday, September 23, 2023, in West Virginia.

Dontae was born September 20, 2005, in Staunton, VA and was preceded in death by his parents, the late Johnny M. Miller, Sr. and Marion Miller.

He graduated from Alleghany High School in May of 2023 and was currently attending Bluefield State College in Bluefield, WV and enjoyed being on the wrestling team.

Dontae grew up in Potts Creek and is survived by his brothers, Shawn Miller, Travis Miller, Tim Miller of Covington, and John D. (Samantha) Miller of Charleston, S.C.; three nephews, Cohen, Hudson and Dylan and one niece Nora.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Earwood officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.

Interment will be made in Lonestar Cemetery.
