Violet Wolfe Persinger, 86, of 508 W. Gilliam Street, died, Thursday, July 18, 2019, in Lewis Gale-Alleghany Hospital at Low Moor. Mrs. Persinger was born July 11, 1933, in Alleghany County a daughter of the late Charles and Amber Arritt Wolfe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four Sisters, Helen Huffman, Juanita Terry, Oleta Stayton and Edna Kemper and two Brothers, Walter Wolfe and Odell Wolfe. She had retired from Westvaco in 1994 after 32 years in the Accounting Department. She was a member of First Christian Church. Surviving are her Husband of 67 years, Clifford B. Persinger, Sr., of Covington; three Daughters, Doris Childs and Bobbie Persinger, both of Covington and Ronda Hyler and her Husband, Gary, of Roanoke; three Sons and Daughters-in-law, Richard and JoAnne Persinger of Lewisburg, WV; Dennis and Julie Persinger of Covington and Clifford and Terry Persinger, Jr. of Clifton Forge; nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and neph...

Blanche Ramsey Fortune, 100, of 126 Central Avenue in Craigsville died Thursday, July 11, 2019, in the Brian Center Nursing and Rehab Center at Low Moor. Mrs. Fortune was born March 5, 1919, in Augusta County a Daughter of the late William P. and Maggie Pearl Eagle Ramsey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, her Daughter-in-law and five sisters and two brothers. Surviving are her Son, William M. Fortune, of Chilton, WI., four grandchildren, several grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 20, 2019, at 1:00 PM in the Craigsville Presbyterian Church. Interment will be made in Mountain View Cemetery at Clifton Forge. Celia Wolfe Kimberlin Terry, 92, of 5619 Potts Creek Road died Wednesday, July 10, 2019. Mrs. Terry was born August 27, 1926, in Alleghany County a Daughter of the late Coyd and Annie Wright Wolfe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first Husband, Norman Kimberlin, Sr., in 1987; her second Husband, Robby Terry, in 1998; a Son, Robert Kimberlin; and a granddaughter, Ashley Kimberlin. two sisters and three brothers. She was a former employee of the Industrial Rayon Corp in Covington. Eva Ann Brown Eutsler, 78, of 5916 Johnson Creek Rd., died, Tuesday July 9, 2019 in the Lewis-Gale Medical Center in Salem. Mrs. Eutsler was born January 5, 1941 in Staunton, Va., the daughter of the late Ralph Brown and Mary Judd Nimmo. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Robert E. Thompson, her second husband Nelson T. Eutsler, and a son Robert K. Thompson. Eva was a former employee of the Sperry Marine as a solderer and most recently as a cashier at the Southland Market. She was a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints. She loved watching old action movies and reading mystery books, she was known to be a bit of a collector and loved and cherished her time with her grand and great grandchildren. She loved to take trips and eat out and get dressed up. Betty Lou Persinger, 83, of 226 East Oak Street died Sunday, July 7, 2019, at The Woodlands Health and Rehab Center in Clifton Forge. She was born November 9, 1935, in Alleghany County a Daughter of the late Basil and Louise Campbell Persinger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Sister, Nadine Keys, and Three cousins, Harry Persinger, Sr., James Persinger and Peter P.Persinger. She was a graduate of Radford University and was employed by the Covington City School System for 34 years and taught at the former Rivermont Elementary School for 31 years. She was raised on Oak Street by her parents and grandparents and loved quilting and children. Mrs. Bradshaw was born January 20, 1917, in Craig County a daughter of the late James P. and Florence Humphries Craft. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband, Richard R. He was born March 1, 1952, in White Sulphur Springs WV., a son of Theodore C. and Alice Robinson Sharp of White Sulphur Springs, WV.
Mr. Sharp had worked at Cucci's in Covington and was avid Washington Redskins Fan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Ann Holloway Sharp, in 2012.
